Inn at Nye Beach, operated by VIP Hospitality Group, is one of the top high-end boutique hotels located in the Historic District of Newport, Oregon.VIP Hospitality Group is a Pacific Northwest-based company with a portfolio of hotels, B&Bs, cafes and restaurants in Oregon and Washington. Led by a team of passionate and seasoned professionals, VIP specializes in hospitality-related real estate and business acquisitions, as well as development and management services.

VIP is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with a focus on the Pacific Northwest markets, including urban city centers and small, beach-town communities. The founders of VIP Hospitality have a very humble beginning more than 30 years ago as hard-working immigrants who knew very little about the hospitality business. We learned early on that the words humility and hospitality are synonymous, and without living this principle it is impossible to deliver on the true meaning of hospitality. We are grateful for the opportunities given to us to serve in this industry, and are thankful for our customers, employees, investors and the communities we serve.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What time is check in/out?

    Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m., and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. If you would like an early arrival, please let our Front Desk team know and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on availability. We are glad to accommodate a late check-out when possible, and a fee may apply.

  • Where do I park?

    Complimentary parking is available for hotel guests. Our underground parking garage is best suited for compact vehicles, and we recommend parking on the street for larger vehicles.

  • Do you offer complimentary breakfast?

    A complimentary continental breakfast is delivered to your guest room each morning between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Guests may also choose to receive a $15 voucher/room, to enjoy breakfast at Ocean Café in lieu of the in-room continental breakfast delivery.

  • Is there a swimming pool?

    While we do not have a swimming pool, we do offer Oregon's only oceanfront infinity spa. Our large saltwater infinity spa is open year-round, heated to 104°F, and features multiple jets and ambient lighting for a relaxing coastal experience.

  • Do you have a onsite restaurant?

    While we do not have a full-service restaurant on-site, guests can enjoy handcrafted coffee, espresso beverages, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and light fare at Ocean Café, conveniently located on the hotel property. We are also within walking distance of many of Newport's favorite restaurants in the Nye Beach District.

  • Is there a place to purchase snacks and drinks at the hotel?

    Yes, our hotel lobby features a gift shop offering Oregon beers and wines, snacks, and a thoughtfully curated selection of gifts and locally inspired items.

  • Do you have direct beach access?

    Inn at Nye Beach offers private beach access for hotel guests. The access includes approximately 10 flights of stairs leading to the sand. Please note that the stairs may be uneven, and guests should use the beach access with care.

  • Can I have a bonfire on the beach?
    • Yes, you can build a bonfire on the beach. We recommend checking with local authorities for any active burn bans before building a beach bonfire.
    • Build your fire on bare sand, away from driftwood, vegetation, and dunes.
    • Avoid burning large driftwood logs, which can remain dangerously hot for hours.
    • Never leave your fire unattended.
    • Keep water nearby to help control and extinguish the fire.
    • Completely extinguish your fire by pouring water over it, then stir the ashes until everything is cool to the touch.
    • Do not bury hot coals, as hidden embers can cause serious burns.
    • Pack out all trash and leave the beach cleaner than you found it.
  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes, Inn at Nye Beach is a dog-friendly hotel. We welcome up to two dogs per guest room for $29 per dog, per night. Dogs enjoy special amenities including a Carolina Pet bed, bowls, treats, and cleanup bags. Please contact the hotel directly to reserve a pet-friendly room.
